Museum information
Privacy notice
Effective 8 August 2026. The museum is designed to collect as little personal data as practical.
What we receive
When you donate an artifact, we receive the wing, title, story, optional date, optional display name, and your consent confirmation. Do not submit email addresses, access tokens, source code secrets, personal data, or confidential employer information.
How it is used
We use submissions to review, publish, secure, and operate the collection. Service infrastructure may temporarily process request metadata such as an IP address and user agent to prevent abuse and investigate failures. We do not sell submission data.
Public records and deletion
Approved artifact text and display names are public. Unapproved submissions need not be published. Use the report and removal form to flag personal data or request removal; include the accession number or public URL so we can locate it.
Terms of use
Effective 8 August 2026. You must be able to share what you submit. Keep secrets, private code, personal data, and material covered by an employer’s confidentiality rules out of the museum.
You retain ownership of your submission and grant the museum a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, reproduce, format, and display it as part of the collection. You may request removal. We may edit formatting, decline, label, hide, or remove material to keep the collection safe and useful.
The museum is provided as-is and may change or experience downtime. Share links are intended to remain stable, but uninterrupted or permanent availability is not guaranteed. Do not misuse the API, evade limits, automate harassment, or interfere with the service.
Content and moderation
Whimsy is welcome; harm is not. Submissions are reviewed before public display.
- No credentials, private keys, unreleased vulnerabilities, confidential code, or personal data.
- No harassment, threats, hateful material, impersonation, spam, or illegal content.
- No doxxing or blame-focused stories about identifiable coworkers or users.
- No copyrighted material you are not allowed to share.
- Describe security incidents only after responsible disclosure and remediation.
Automated checks may help queue submissions, but publication and removal decisions can be reviewed by a human operator. Use the report form for errors, rights concerns, or appeals.
Digital delivery and refunds
No paid product is currently sold. Public artifact submissions are free, and this site does not presently collect payment information.
If paid downloadable certificates launch, the checkout will show the price, included files, delivery timing, and payment provider before purchase. Digital files will be delivered through the completion page. A customer will be able to report a missing, corrupt, duplicate, or materially incorrect delivery through the report form for correction or refund review.
This notice will be updated before payments open. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Report or request removal
Tell the registrar which record needs attention and why. Do not put sensitive data in this form. Reports are not displayed publicly.
